This report presents an application for funding under the Council's Community Fund Programme.
An application for funding of £3,507.42 has been received from Penny Melville-Brown, the Chairman of Catisfield Memorial Hall to fix the roof at Catisfield Memorial Hall.
The roof needs the work undertaken urgently as high hedges from a neighbouring property block sunlight to it causing the felt to perish.
The hall is used by all sections of the community and houses 14 community groups which include play groups, art groups, yoga, flower arranging and the Catisfield Village Association.
Councillor Ms Tiffany Harper, Chairman of the Titchfield Community Action Team meeting supports the application as does Councillor Mrs Connie Hockley.
That the application for £3,507.42 from Fareham Borough Council’s Community Funding Programme, submitted by The Trustees of Catisfield Memorial Hall for the refurbishment of the roof at Catisfield Hall be approved.
