This report presents an application for funding under the Council's Community Fund Programme.
An application for funding of £2,800 has been received from Paul Tickner, the Chairman of the Abshot Community Association to provide insulation and replace suspended ceiling tiles at the Abshot Community Centre.
The hall is used by all sections of the community and houses several community groups. The works would provide improved energy efficiency and a better social environment for the users.
Councillor Miss Tiffany Harper, Chairman of the Titchfield Community Action Team meeting supports the application, and Councillor Mrs Sarah Pankhurst also supports the application. Councillor Englefield failed to respond.
That the application for £2800 from Fareham Borough Council’s Community Funding Programme, submitted by the Abshot Community Association to provide insulation and replace suspended ceiling tiles be approved.
