This report considers the procurement process and the award of a contract for the provision of five refuse collection vehicles.
There is a requirement to purchase five refuse collection vehicles in the next two years, as the current vehicles have reached the end of their expected working life. It is proposed to purchase three vehicles in the 2017-18 financial year and two in the following financial year, 2018-19. Funding for the replacement vehicles has been allocated from the Council’s Capital Expenditure programme.
