This report presents an application for funding under the Council's Community Fund Programme.
Mr David Dawson-Taylor, resident of Hill Head has requested funding of £582 for works to be carried out to improve the ground surrounding a kissing gate at the entrance to the recreation site leading into Seafield Park.
The gated entrance is at the southern edge of the park and is a well used route. It is currently unmade making it very slippery and muddy after heavy rainfall.
The improvements would be to lay stone through the kissing gate and the surrounding muddy area. The new surface will improve accessibility for all residents and visitors to the park.
The works would be arranged by officers and carried out by contractors on behalf of the applicant.
Councillor Mandry and Councillor Knight are in support of the bid.
