Barbara Cooper on behalf of Addiaid, Fareham has requested funding of £909.97 to purchase a lap-top, printer and software.
Addiaid is a registered charity that provides support for individuals living in Fareham who are experiencing problems with drugs and/or alcohol misuse/abuse. This provision is delivered by 1 to 1 support, advice and information, counselling and onward referral. Addiaid are able to meet the needs of both the individual who is misusing substances and also those affected by some else's substance misuse.
The total cost of the project is £909.97 for the purchase of a lap-top, printer and software. The IT equipment will assist individuals looking for educational courses and job searches/CV writing and also enable the charity to seek funding to develop the service further. Addiaid are requesting the full amount from CATs funding as they do not have any financial resources to put towards the project.
Councillors Howard, Trott and Whittle are supportive of the this application.
