This report considers the tenders received for undertaking a technical study to provide evidence on infrastructure funding to support the preparation of an Area Action Plan for the development of the new community north of Fareham.

The new community north of Fareham is a significant strategic development of between 6,500 and 7,500 homes and 91,000sqm of employment floor space on a largely Greenfield site to the north of the M27 at Fareham.  Development is planned to commence with infrastructure works late 2015 and to deliver housing and supporting community facilities and infrastructure from 2016 to approximately 2031.

A competitive tender exercise was carried out during December 2012 and January 2013 to select a consultancy for the provision of advice and evidence to indicate how infrastructure in the new community can be funded, together with a detailed Infrastructure Funding Strategy for the life of the development.

This report outlines the tenders received for this work and seeks an award of contract.
