The report presents an application for funding under the Council's Community Fund Programme.
Mr Barry Branscombe of The Searles Petanque Club has requested £1,454 to help construct a replacement terrain.
The Club's existing home, The Limes, Catisfield, is due to be demolished and the club have recently moved home to the Searles Sports and Social Club, Fareham where land adjacent to the Club has been put aside for the Petanque Club to use to build a new terrain. Planning permission is not required.
The total cost of the project is £1,600. The remainder of the monies will be raised from the Petanque club’s reserves of £146. Labour is being fully provided, free of charge by club members.
Councillors Howard and Steadman are supportive of the CATS bid.
